When Nico Favresse and Sean Villanueva ask you to shoot an expedition to Greenland you have to go! This was the third time I’ve boarded a sailboat to access Arctic big-walls with this team. Getting to the Mirror Wall in Scoresby Sound (East Greenland) was by far the most complicated mission I’ve been on. After sailing and waiting around 40 days we arrived at the anchorage, deep in the system of fjords of Renland. A brutal morainal approach brought us to the base of the wall. Nico had been injured on the approach, Leaving Franco, Sean and I to decide which line to take. Naturally, Sean chose the blankest, least likely to be possible line. From there the adventure really got started!
